Precast concrete is widely used to create building components such as walls and façades, combining the strength and durability of concrete with the benefits of offsite construction.

Fabrock® stone wool insulation is developed for precast concrete offsite construction, where building elements are manufactured in factories before being transported and assembled on site. Increasingly used for its efficiency in terms of time, cost and quality control, offsite construction enables more reliable and consistent building processes.

Fabrock® offers a complete range of tailor-made products, allowing you to combine fire safety, thermal performance, acoustic insulation and durability applicable to all Precast concrete wall types. This range supports a wide variety of precast concrete applications, helping you meet the specific requirements of different panel designs, manufacturing processes and installation methods. Whether used for non-load-bearing architectural façades or load-bearing wall systems, Fabrock® provides reliable insulation performance across residential, commercial and industrial construction projects.

Fabrock® PCP (Precast Concrete Panels) - designed for precast concrete sandwich panels used in structural wall applications.

Fabrock® AFP-DD (Architectural Façade Panels – Dual Density) - developed for precast concrete non load bearing architectural façade panels. The unique Dual Density technology provides a robust mechanical fixing as well as weather protection for when the insulation is exposed to the elements.

Fabrock® FGT-DD (Filigree / Twin Wall Systems – Dual Density) - for factory-installed insulation in filigree and twin-wall precast systems, supporting high compressive strength, the unique Dual Density slabs also allow for fast concrete casting on site.

Technical properties of Fabrock® PCP

Fabrock® PCP is designed for precast concrete sandwich wall panels used in structural wall applications within the building envelope. It is used in residential, commercial and industrial projects where panels must combine insulation performance with mechanical strength during production, transport and installation.

The product offers high compressive strength, stable thermal performance, resistance to moisture and is non-combustible, making it suitable for long-term use in precast systems.

Technical properties of Fabrock® AFP-DD

Fabrock® AFP-DD is developed for non-load-bearing architectural precast concrete façade panels used in building envelope systems. Its dual density structure combines a rigid outer layer that improves fixing strength and handling stability with a stone wool core that provides thermal and acoustic insulation.

The product is non-combustible, water-repellent, and maintains its performance and durability even when exposed to weather conditions during storage, transport and installation. Fabrock® AFP-DD is used in architectural precast façade systems where insulation performance, mechanical handling and surface requirements must be balanced.

Technical properties of Fabrock® FGT-DD

Fabrock® FGT-DD is engineered for filigree and twin-wall precast concrete systems where insulation is installed during factory production prior to secondary on-site concrete casting. It is used in structural wall elements requiring high mechanical resistance during installation and casting operations.

This dual density product combines high compressive strength, essential during concrete casting, with a robust surface that protects the insulation during pouring. This ensures stable positioning during both phases of production and resilience during on-site pouring in the second phase of casting.
